Refund policy

At Antoinette Atelier, every artwork is prepared and handled with care. Because artwork is delicate and can be affected by repeated handling and transportation, we do not offer general returns for change of mind once an order has been delivered. We encourage you to review the artwork, dimensions and product information carefully before completing your purchase.

Order Cancellations

If you wish to cancel an order, please contact us at antoinetteatelier.art@gmail.com or +94 77 980 1055 within 24 hours of placing your order.
Where preparation or production of the artwork has not yet begun, we will make reasonable efforts to cancel the order and issue a refund.
Once an order has entered preparation or production, or has been dispatched, cancellation may no longer be possible.

Change-of-Mind Returns

Once an artwork has been delivered in good condition and in accordance with your order, we do not accept
returns or provide refunds solely because:

you have changed your mind;
the artwork does not suit your space, décor or furnishings;
you selected an incorrect size;
you no longer require the artwork; or
your personal preference has changed after purchase.

This does not affect any rights you may have under applicable consumer protection law.

Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Artwork

If your artwork arrives damaged or defective, or if you receive an artwork or size different from what you ordered, please contact us as soon as possible at antoinetteatelier.art@gmail.com.
We recommend notifying us within 48 hours of delivery where possible, particularly in cases of transit damage, so that we can investigate the matter promptly with the delivery provider.
Please include:

your name and order number;
photographs of the artwork;
clear photographs showing the damage or issue;
photographs of the external and internal packaging; and
photographs of any visible damage to the parcel or packaging.

Please retain all packaging until the matter has been resolved, as it may be required when assessing a shipping damage claim.
Once we have reviewed the issue, we will work with you to provide an appropriate resolution. Depending on the circumstances, this may include a replacement, repair or refund.
If we require the damaged or incorrect artwork to be returned, we will provide you with the relevant return instructions.

Colour and Display Variations

We make every reasonable effort to represent our artwork accurately on our website.
However, colours may appear slightly different in person due to variations in phone, tablet and computer displays, screen brightness, lighting conditions, printing processes and the materials on which the artwork is produced.
Minor variations of this nature are not considered defects.
If an artwork is materially different from the product shown or described on our website, please contact us so that we can review the issue.

Hand-Finished and Artistic Variations

Where an artwork includes hand-applied, hand-finished or individually crafted elements, slight variations in brushwork, texture, pigment, metallic effects, placement and finish may occur.
These subtle variations are part of the individual character of the artwork and are not considered defects.

Damage After Delivery

Antoinette Atelier cannot accept responsibility for damage that occurs after successful delivery as a result of improper handling, storage, cleaning, mounting, framing, installation, exposure to unsuitable environmental conditions, accidental damage or other circumstances outside our control.
Please follow any care or installation guidance provided with your artwork.

Approved Refunds

Where a refund is approved, it will be issued to the original payment method used for the order unless another method is agreed with you.
Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
Shipping and delivery charges are generally non-refundable unless the refund relates to an error or issue for which Antoinette Atelier is responsible, or where otherwise required by applicable law.
